Echoes of Silence (Echa Ciszy)

Having been back stateside for 2 months, I have this feeling of silence most days. I often go hours and sometimes days without so much as saying a word. Maybe because on some level I have given up on doing so. Often I have earbuds in for various reasons. That all said, there are many days where without the social media, I would probably not talk to anyone about anything. Maybe it’s because I have been prioritizing other things, maybe you could say it’s loneliness. Whatever you want to guess, I have been trying to describe this feeling but I simply have no words for it. I will direct you to listen to the piece I wrote yesterday as it is the only way I can tell you about it.
