The 2nd Cold War

Preface: This is part of the dream that I can remember.

The year is 2035.

The world has be split yet again.

There are but two world ideologies: Fascism and Protectionism

The first world: Comprising mainly of what was left of NATO before the US entered the decades of civil war along with South Korea, Japan, and the Commonwealth.

The second world comprising of the Middle East, Russia, China, and North Korea.

It all started in 2016. A large scale cyber attack that would lead the US to it's doom. The US would eventually begin to abandon allies and fall into a new dark age.

There are no neutral states either by bribery or outright conquest. And in the middle of all of it, lies one specific race: The Blacks/African-Americans. Each side sees the African continent as a playground for their war games. It begins with the seemingly innocent construction projects that China started. But beneath it all, a dubious neo-colonial plan is in play.

The 1st world has been using a farce of peace. Really what it wants is to reach their imperial heights they once had.

The 2nd world has been using the farce of protectionism. It also wishes to rebuild past empires.

Somehow, no nuclear weapons have been used. Yet.

Neither of these “alliances” are held true though. Everyone is scheming and plotting against one another. England seeks to bring back her “American colonies” and capitalize on the dark age. This sparks a new wave of the “ Conquest of the New World.” Russia now realizing this, crosses the Bering Strait and annexes Alaska, sparking alarm in Canada. China seeks to annex all of the port cities along with Mongolia as revenge from under Mongol control. Israel seizes to be a country with the combined Arab/Persian force as Jerusalem falls once more. They take terrible revenge. Meanwhile, Egypt has dreams of rebuilding the antique Egyptian Empire and is mainly successful.

Meanwhile, Russia seeks revenge on Georgia and Finland in an attempt of a new “psuedo Soviet Union.” Many of the Baltic countries are annexed once more as the overwhelming numbers of troops are just too much. In an perhaps ironic twist, Japan and South Korea have decreed that should China annex the port cities, war will be on the horizon.

All of this is a distraction. A plague lingers in the air. It is just waiting for the right moment to strike.

And to add on top of this, the world burns.

But the cherry on top? A single shot. One that rings around the world.

The headlines read: The Prime Minister of Great Britain is dead.

And so it is, the second cold war and presumably, world war 3.
