The Year 2019: A Review

January - Fell out with a roommate. Composed my Violin Sonata. Preparation for the March NAC. Started working out and lost about 10-20 pounds.

February - Lamented Valentine’s Day due to advertisement gentrification. Moved to a new apartment.

March - Competed in my first (and so far only) national tournament. Bought new equipment and planned for many great things to come in the following months. Realization that I was almost done with college.

April - Mostly uneventful. Got sick with a sinus infection. Wrote a fuck ton of papers for school. Performed part of a concerto on an long orchestra concert whilst sick and performed my 2nd junior recital.

May - Shared the annual piece Symphony No. 3 “The First of May” by Dmitri Shostakovich. Nearly got sick again due to weather changes and cleared out for the summer.

June - Went to Texas for a tournament. Wound up spraining my groin which hurt like a motherfucker. Sidelined for full recovery in September.

July - Outran a tropical storm/hurricane to perform in Lake Charles. Did the music of ABBA with only 2 violists (myself being one of them)

August - Realization of semester end. Graduation on the carts. Prepared for orchestra auditions. Life starts to crack

September - Shit hits the fan. Need I say more?

October - Some form of stability I guess. Miss out on all the fun. Hiatus from fencing.

November - Started lightsaber. Made a new best friend. Unfortunately had to break another lease.

December - Performed my senior recital. Pass my classes. GRADUATED COLLEGE. Leave Ohio for good due to life. Travel back home on 0 hours of sleep after one final night out. Arrive in Louisiana. Plan for the future.

Overall a pretty awful year.

Fuck you 2019.
